Sugar

Sugar is one of the most essential components of the food and beverage industry, widely used as a sweetener. The purest and most refined form—ICUMSA-45 sugar—is known for its bright white color and high purity. As it is free from bacteria and contaminants, it is considered one of the safest types of sugar and is in high demand in food production.

Sugar is derived from sugarcane and sugar beet. Globally, approximately 74.4% of sugar production comes from sugarcane, while sugar from sugar beet also holds a significant share.
